COVID-19 Update: March 9, 2020

Our patrons are the lifeblood of our theatre. We are continually refining and improving our ability to protect everyone who walks through our doors at ACT Theatre.

As of now, all scheduled performances at ACT will go on as planned, including performances of our 2020 season-opening play Sweat (previews on March 20).

The leadership at ACT continues to treat this COVID-19 outbreak seriously. It is extremely important that everyone follow the recommendations of King County Public Health, the CDC and guidance from local and regional health professionals to protect their own health and safety, as well as the well-being of everyone in our community.

Our website will be updated regularly with the actions we are implementing to keep our patrons safe and any changes to our play schedule and performance cancellations. We are committed to keeping you fully informed as the situation evolves.

We understand your need for us to be flexible based on your individual circumstances.

King County Public Health is recommending that the following populations avoid large public gatherings:

  • People 60 and older
  • People with underlying health conditions including heart disease, lung disease or diabetes
  • People who have weakened immune systems
  • People who are pregnant

It is also important that you stay at home if you are sick or feel unwell.

If you belong to one of the populations above and would like to exchange your ticket for a credit for a future production or another date due to illness or discomfort, please contact our Ticket Office at 206.292.7676. You can also donate the face value of your ticket to ACT (thank you). In the event of a cancellation, we will notify ticket-holders as soon as possible, with at least 2-hours notice by email. We will also post notices on our social media channels. ACT’s Ticket Office and voicemail will have the most current information available. The Ticket Office can be reached directly at or 206.292.7676.

Thank you for your trust in ACT Theatre and we look forward to seeing you at ACT throughout the year.
