Please read the following privacy policy to understand how your personal information will be used and treated when you make a donation to ACT. Please note that this policy might change from time to time, and we will notify you if any changes are made to this policy.
By using this site or by making a donation by mail, you signify your agreement to ACT’s Privacy Policy.
ACT will take all appropriate steps to keep your personal information confidential. Personal information is defined as your name, street address, e-mail address, billing information, credit card number, and expiration date and any other personally identifying information you may provide. Those steps include limiting access to client information databases and communicating this policy statement to all of ACT’s employees. ACT will not sell or share our donor’s personal information to anyone. We may communicate with our donors via e-mail or other online delivery devices only if the donor agrees to receive those communications. Donors who believe they are receiving our communications in error or no longer want to receive them, should inform us at development@dev.acttheatre.org, and we will promptly remove those names from our mailing lists.
ACT currently uses the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to safeguard your information, including your credit card number, during online transactions. You can tell you are using the Secure Socket Layer encryption when a gold or blue padlock appears in the corner of your browser. In the unlikely event that we ever do suspect a donor’s credit card number has been intercepted, we will immediately notify the donor. If you’re not comfortable sending your credit card information online, please call ACT at 206.292.7660 x1300 to speak to our Development Coordinator.
Please contact the Development office at development@dev.acttheatre.org with any questions.
