What do you do when you lose all hope? Burn it down. Jen Silverman’s Witch takes place in a sleepy town where the devil has come to call. After capturing the souls of two young men, he soon finds out that his most worthy opponent will actually be Elizabeth—an outcast everyone assumes is a witch. With wry wit and humor, this Faustian tale looks at what is wrong with humanity and how we might attempt to fix it.
